Expanding a tennis brand

Primarily known as a maker of “player’s racquets,” thanks to longtime endorser Rafael Nadal, Babolat needed a way to reach less experienced or aggressive players who preferred an oversize racquet — without losing its identity along the way.

Running in Tennis Magazine nationally, as well as other regional publications, this ad let a new audience know about Babolat’s presence in the oversize market in a way that complemented consumer perceptions — and the company’s “Tennis runs in our blood” tagline — perfectly.
